An American Family History

Elizabeth Hart Humphreys

Elizabeth (Betsy) Hart Humphreys was born about 1765 in North Carolina. It is unlikely that she was the daughter of Aaron Hart. His daughter, Elizabeth married Stephen Howard.

She was closely related to William Hart.

She married David Humphreys. Their children and life together are described in detail in the section on David and Elizabeth Humphreys. They raised their family in East Tennessee.
